hi, i'm jerris.

I am a photographer born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I've been taking photos since I was 17 years old. I found my love for photography back in high school. My mother has supported anything I wanted to do in life & a camera was in my hands before I knew it. I had an opportunity to take a lot of my classmates' senior yearbook photos so they could have memories to have forever with their families. I graduated from Leo Jr./Sr. HS in 2017 and spent some studies pursuing art & photography at Purdue FW.

Now as I continue through this beautiful life as a 25-year-old, I've learned to be extremely appreciative of all the tiny things around me. I take more patience and gratitude with not only my life but my work too. I love being a homebody with my dog Geno Jafaar, creating art, and always looking to be involved with families and businesses here locally. 

My friends and family have also allowed me to express my creative direction in photography. I'm always open-minded to creating & curating a beautiful shoot with you. I adore different ideas brought to me so we can execute your Forever memory/idea. I am an inclusive photographer so I encourage everyone from all backgrounds to book with me. Safe and welcoming for all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Hopefully, soon, I plan to expand my business to offer bereavement memory services, dog portraits, and so much more! I can’t wait to work with you. 📷
